I've been trying to do my best to get some quiet time in every morning and a little before I go to sleep recently. My mind has a mind of its own lately and apparently it likes running marathons on a track in my head throughout the day but that's for another blog...
Either way, I've found myself journaling a bit more and enjoying the short devotional I read in my email from Girlfriends in God to settle my mind down a little. This one was pretty fitting considering many of my Wilmington friends have started their new life chapters elsewhere. Friendships are so important to me and consistently teach me so much which is why this devotional really hit home.
